Take a look a what racing in a NASCAR event looked like inside a race car more than 50 years ago.

The NASCAR Cup Series takes on the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval for Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 Round of 12 elimination race.

Four drivers will be eliminated from the playoffs after Sunday’s results, and championship contenders Tyler Reddick and Chase Elliott are around the cutline.

NASCAR and the Charlotte Motor Speedway threw a wrinkle into the race with a small re-design of the track through Turns 5-7 and Turns 16 and 17. Turn 7 is a sharper corner which will turn into a major braking zone, while Turn 16 is more rigid to begin the final chicane.
