For the Canadians, they reached the quarterfinals by rebounding from their opening match loss to Argentina and defeating Peru and drawing Chile. Jesse Marsch’s men emerged from a tough Group A with a spot in the knockout rounds in their first ever appearance at CONMEBOL Copa América™. Now, they’ll see how far they can go in their first attempt, writing their country’s record books as they go.
For one of these team’s it will be a record breaking appearance in the tournament’s Semifinals, but first, they’ll play a must-watch match to determine who gets to write that history.
