Before Lionel Messi — who got injured and looked so upset on the bench — and Argentina won the 2024 Copa America over Colombia with an extra-time goal, there was the delay caused by so many unticketed fans storming the gates at Hard Rock Stadium. It was all kinds of horrible, and a bad look for a stadium that will host games for the 2026 World Cup.
The videos of fans breaching the gates, climbing over structures and through ventilation shafts were unreal and scary, and the chaos outside and inside the stadium stole the headlines from the final of the tournament.
