TD Bank has been recognized as the “Best Consumer Digital Bank in North America” by Global Finance for the fourth year in a row.
The award was based on six category wins by TD in areas like innovation, transformation, lending, open banking APIs, bill payment and presentment, and fraud management.
“At TD, we innovate with purpose by harnessing the collective ideation power of our colleagues, exploring emerging technologies such as AI and spatial computing, and designing experiences that are focused on centering human needs to help support customers in an everchanging world,” said Montresa McMillan, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy, in a statement on Wednesday.
TD has the highest number of active monthly mobile users among Canadian banks for ten years running, according to data.ai, and the number one digital reach out of all banks in the country, according to Comscore.
The winners were selected from submissions reviewed by a panel of judges from Infosys, while final selections were made by the editors of Global Finance.
Within Apple’s App Store, TD Canada is the third spot under most downloaded apps in the Finance category, behind RBC Mobile and PayPal. CIBC is in fourth spot, followed by Wealthsimple and Scotiabank in fifth and sixth, respectively.
