Tournament History

The CRMC Championship presented by Gertens returns to Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd, Minnesota for the third consecutive year. The 2023 Tournament of the Year on PGA TOUR Canada serves as the penultimate event of the season for the second year in a row, and is the final stop before the season-ending, limited-field Fortinet Cup Championship.

While 36 holes are offered at Cragun’s Legacy Courses, competition will be played on the Dutch 18 – a recently completed renovation and expansion by PGA TOUR winner Tom Lehman. This year’s Honorary Chairman is the champion of the 2022 CRMC Championship and PGA TOUR winner, Jake Knapp.

This week’s field includes six players who finished inside the top-10 at the 2023 CRMC Championship presented by Gertens: Gavin Hall (T4), Blake Tomlinson (T4), Julián Etulain (T6), Taylor Funk (T6), Brendan MacDougall (T6), and George Markham (T6).

Fortinet Cup Overview

The CRMC Championship presented by Gertens is the ninth stop of the North America Swing, and the 15th event of the season. The 10-event North America Swing is comprised of nine events in Canada and one in the United States.

After the North America Swing’s ninth event (CRMC Championship presented by Gertens, Aug. 29-Sept. 1), the top 120 players in the Fortinet Cup will be exempt into the Fortinet Cup Championship (Sept. 5-8), the final event of the season. The season will conclude in Caledon, Ontario at TPC Toronto with the top 10 players in the Fortinet Cup earning exempt membership for the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season.
