QDOBA, a US fast-casual Mexican restaurant, is set to expand its presence in Arizona with the opening of two new locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

The new additions will join the existing on-campus eateries at Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University.

The two restaurant locations are expected to open their doors in January. The launch of these new restaurants will introduce approximately 80 new jobs to the area.

Both restaurants will feature 2,000ft² interior and outdoor seating areas, with Phoenix boasting an additional 1,000ft² and Scottsdale offering an extra 1,500ft² complete with a fireplace.

QDOBA’s menu includes burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and salads, catering to individual preferences and dietary needs.

For added convenience, customers at these new Arizona locations can place orders through QDOBA’s website or mobile app.

The company currently operates around 800 restaurants in North America and plans to nearly double this number over the next decade.

QDOBA chief development officer Jeremy Vitaro said: “QDOBA is an exceptionally well-positioned brand in one of the most attractive restaurant categories with the Greater Phoenix area offering significant growth potential.

“We are excited to bring our delicious, bold flavours, freshly prepared food and everyday value to local residents.”

Vitaro stated that QDOBA plans to open up to ten restaurants in the Arizona-Southwest region over the next two years.

The company currently operates approximately 800 restaurants in North America and currently plans to nearly double this number over the next decade.

In October, QDOBA appointed Kevin Carroll as its chief operating officer.

“QDOBA to open new restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona” was originally created and published by Verdict Food Service, a GlobalData owned brand.
