ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham encourages and expects fans to be excited to attend the first season of ASU in the Big 12 conference.

The 2024 college football season kicked off last weekend with Week 0, but most teams begin their seasons this weekend with Week 1.

That includes Arizona State, Arizona and Northern Arizona.

All three Arizona college football teams will be in action in the first full week of the 2024 college football season and all three will be playing on Saturday, Aug. 31 at home in Tempe, Tucson and Flagstaff.

Here’s what to know about each team’s first game of the season, including the opponent, location, date, time, TV channel and streaming information to help you be prepared for the Sun Devils, Wildcats and Lumberjacks’ season openers.

When does college football season start for Arizona State?

The Sun Devils open their season at Mountain America Stadium on Saturday against Wyoming.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on FS1 (Watch on FUBO with free 7-day trial).

When does college football season start for Arizona?

The Wildcats begin their season at Arizona Stadium on Saturday against New Mexico.

The game has a 7:30 p.m. start time and will air on ESPN (watch with free trial from FUBO).

When does college football season start for Northern Arizona?

The Lumberjacks start their season against Lincoln (California) on Saturday at the Walkup Skydome.

The game has a 1 p.m. kickoff and is scheduled to stream on ESPN+.

Looking ahead for ASU, Arizona, NAU football

All three Arizona teams will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 7 with Arizona hosting Northern Arizona at 7 p.m. in Tucson and Arizona State hosting Mississippi State at 7:30 p.m. in Tempe.

The Arizona-NAU game is scheduled to stream on ESPN+, while the ASU-Mississippi State game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN.
