Michelin has 3 levels of greatness when they review hotels. The best hotels earn 3 keys, the next best get 2 keys and some earn 1 key. Even getting 1 key is a challenge as Michelin is very picky.
No Texas hotels hit the triple but 3 of the 20 that made the list scored double keys.
To show you how prestigious this award is, out of all the hotels in the the entire USA, less than 300 made the list. 16 got three keys, 70 got two keys and 207 got a single key. Each of them special and unique in some way.
